In his first three seasons on the PGA Tour he played well enough to retain his card and had a best finish of second at the 2005 Wachovia Championship, where he lost a playoff. In February 2006 he achieved his first PGA Tour win at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and in 2006 he featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
